Sorry commenting here, but anyways…
I really like your pictures on flickr. I’m considering getting a K1000 and your photos are one of the causes for me to pick that camera. Could you tell me what films do you use the most?
Well, thanks. Bye.
You should get one! I’m totally in love with mine. I’m really flattered that my photos were a factor in you wanting to get one. The majority of my photos were taken on Fujifilm 400 Xtra, with a few being Fuji 800 Xtra and Kodak 800.
If you make up your mind to get one, make sure to look in the local classifieds or craig’s list. You should be able to track one down in good working condition with the 50mm lens for around $50.
What’s your flickr account?

Yeah, I’ll probably get it. I’m just waiting for the money now.
So, I live in Brazil and I know a place where they sell those old cameras. There’s a lot of K1000’s, and I’ll get the cheapest but best one I find.
I used to have a flickr account but I deleted it months ago. I’m considering creating a new one for the coming photos of my Pentax.
When it happens, I’ll let you know, so you may teach me some tricks, hehe.
Now let me look at your new photos. See ya.

Hey.
So, I finally purchased the Pentax. It’s not the K1000, but a slightly better version, the KX.
I took some pictures for a test, and most of them came out underexposed. Guess I’ll give more chance to the photometer next time.
Anyways, the good ones came out really good. But for my disappointment, my scanner is the opposite of really good, and it praticaly takes all the color and vividness from the prints. Does this happens to you? Cause I see your pictures and they look fine in the colours. I must do something about it, cause it’s definitely not cool to have such good camera and such crappy scans.
Well, here’s the link. Those are some of the photos that came out well. http://flickr.com/photos/hopesfall/
